Symptoms
-- Problem Statement:On 11.5.10.2 in Production:
When attempting to enter a new Quote,
the following error occurs:
ERROR
ORA-00001: unique constraint (ONT.OE_ORDER_HEADERS_U2) violated
in Package OE_Header_Util Procedure Insert_Row.
-- Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. using Order Management responsibility navigate to >Negotiation>Quotes
2. enter customer, order types
3. save quote
-- observe above mentioned error --
-- Business Impact:
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot create quotation to be filed with customer so ultimately unable to create and book sales order.
