Symptoms

When either Post Mass Additions is run to add a new asset OR an attempt is made to add a new asset via the Asset Workbench, the following error occurs:

APP-OFA-48392: You must define a prorate period for this prorate convention

Steps to Reproduce via Mass Additions:

a)  Interface a new mass additions line from any source, ex:  Payables, Web ADI, into FA_MASS_ADDITIONS.

b) In Fixed Assets responsibility, choose menu path:  Mass Additions -- Prepare Mass Additions.  Query on the new row. Using the Prepare Mass Additions form, update the row to Post status.

c)  Run Post Mass Additions. 

Error will be seen in log file.

Steps to Reproduce via the Asset Workbench:

i) In Fixed Assets responsibility, with menu path:  Assets -- Asset Workbench, choose either Detailed Additions or Quick Additions.

ii)  Complete data to add a new asset  SAVE.

Error will be seen on screen.
