Reports Failing When You Pass On Report Parameter Input As Xid In 5.5.05.02. (Doc ID 802936.1)

Last updated on JULY 09, 2014

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management - Version: 5.5.05.02
This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

-- Problem Statement:

After an OTM upgrade to 5.5 CU05 RU02 , OTM stopped converting the reportsparameters form XID to GID to be passed to Oracle reports.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect that when you pass the report parameter on as XID, OTM finder converts the given XID to GID and to be passed to Oracle reports as it only accept GID parameter values.

-- Steps To Reproduce:

1- Run an OTM report and pass on the report parameters as XID (ObjectName) and not GID (DomainName.ObjectName). The report will not be generated.

2- Run an OTM report and pass on the report parameters as  GID (DomainName.ObjectName). The report will be generated.
