Oracle Payments - Version 11.5.10.2 to 11.5.10.2 [Release 11.5]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
SEGIS was set up by the Pharmacy Industry, Associations, Merchants, Processors and Third Party Providers, to govern the IIAS process.
At this point all Pharmacy Merchants must join SEGIS as that is the body that certifies the merchant for the IIAS system. In order to register a merchant with Visa and MasterCard for your MVV or MCID numbers, you must first have the certification complete from SEGIS. MVV (Visa) or MCID (MasterCard) registration numbers must be assigned to the Merchant for any FSA, HRA cards to be approved. These registration numbers show Visa and MC that the Merchant has in fact installed the IIAS system and has been certified by SEGIS
As per FDC, Table 68 needs to accommodate this requirement.
