iStore Order Line With Drop Ship Item Not Creating Purchase Release (Doc ID 803179.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to progress a dropship line through Purchase Release that was entered in iStore by a Web customer, the following error occurs:

ERROR

The person who entered the order, &USER, is not a valid employee.


STEPS
1. After entering the order in iStore, using Order Management Super User:
2. Order Organizer > Query order
3. Navigate to dropship line
2. Actions > Progress Order > Purchase Release - Eligible > OK
Receive an error message:

The person who entered the order is not an employee.


The person entering the order would be a WEB user (customer) in iStore.
You have many drop ship lines that are entered this way by en external customer.

Is there should be a profile option or setup that would control this?
