How Does one End Date a Position Using HR_POSITION_API.UPDATE_POSITION? (Doc ID 805913.1)

Goal

When you execute the attached Update Script, which uses Standard
hr_position_api.update_position,  without passing the <p_date_end> parameter, it executes fine and give you correct result.

When you execute the attached script (after changing the OVN to the correct latest value), with
passing the <p_date_end> parameter, it errors out as following.

Error at line 3
ORA-20001: Date end should not be entered.
ORA-06512: at "APPS.HR_POSITION_API", line 4227
ORA-06512: at line 19
