When Calculating A Commisson Amount It Shows As Zero (Doc ID 808324.1)

Find that when calculating a commission amount, it is showing as zero.

Using an attribute (so with format varchar2) as an input (or output ) of a calculation formula does always return zero as a result (ie the first tier rate)

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

(R) Incentive Compensation Administrator
(N) Configuration Workbench
Table and columns
Use Attribute15 : Loyalty Score
Setup for:

- Attribute
- Classification Attribute
- Dimension attribute

(R) Plan Administrator
(N) Maintain Component Library

Create input expression : BF UST Input = CN_COMMISSIPN_HEADAR.Loyalty Score
(without to_number function in a first step)

Create input expression : BF UST Output = CN_COMMISSIPN_HEADAR.Rate Table Result

Create Rate table : BF UST Rate table : type amount with a dimension at 4 tiers with brackets in amounts enter rates in amount

Create formula BF UST Formula with all these components

(R) Compensation Manager
(N) Maintain Transactions
Create a transaction

(R) Compensation Manager
(N) Maintain Transactions
Load Transactions
with option perform classification and rollup

(R) Compensation Manager
(N) Calculate Compensation
