Field 'Declared Value' Restricted To 8 Digits (Doc ID 810235.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 08, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management - Version: 5.5.04.04
This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

The field 'declared value' on the Order Release Line or Ship Unit Line is restricted to 8 digits.
Consequently, the value cannot be declared if it
exceeds 100 million. The field must be made configurable to allow for any sum, since depending on the currency used, or the value of the goods transported, this value can be exceeded.

Declaring the correct value is a legal requirement. Currently, when the value exceeds 100 million, the lines have to be split so that the value per line does not exceed 8 digits.
