Primary Unit Of Measure Is Invalid Error When Defining Asset Group (Doc ID 813563.1)

Symptoms

When defining an Asset Group using the Asset Group Template, the following error occurs:

ERROR

Insert procedure failed with the following error message:
Primary Unit of Measure is invalid.
Attribute column value is not valid. Enter a positive number.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. EAM Responsibility
2. Navigation: Assets - Asset Groups
3. Enter Asset Group Details
4. Save


Similar issue is also observed when creating a new asset group in Asset Groups (EAMITMDF) form
ERROR:
Insert procedure failed with the following error message: 124
Solution: add default UOM in the Asset Group Template
 

The same is also observed when trying to create a Rebuildable Item an error message is displayed while saving:

ERROR

Insert Procedure failed with the following error message: 133339

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. EAM > Rebuildable > Rebuildable item
2. enter data using template @Rebuildable > save > error
