Goal

Why when we associate a rebuildable item to a parent asset, there is no corresponding automatic transaction to move it out of inventory and no update of the on hand quantity (no miscellaneous issue)?

1) Navigation: Maintenance Super User > Assets > Rebuildable Inventory > Select Maintained Number > Select Configuration History > Select child item and press button ‘update’ > point ‘end date’ > check flag ‘return to inventory’ > enter subinventory and locator > Apply.
2) check on-hand quantity into inventory. Seriallised rebuidable is receipted into inventory.
3) Then we return rebuildable item to asset:
Navigation: Maintenance Super User > Assets > Rebuildable Inventory > Select Asset Number > Select Configuration History > Press button ‘associate child’ > enter ‘asset number’ (our rebuildable item) and press Apply. Association is established.
4) check on-hand quantity into inventory. Summary quantity is not changed. There are no Material Transaction for Rebuildable item.
