Information in this document applies to any platform.
1. Create a Collection Plan with an Action of "Assign a valve to Collection Element ".
2. The Action uses a SQL script which refers to a Global variable .i.e., :Parameter
Example : SELECT DESCRIPTION FROM MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS
3. The collection plan is set to be triggered in the background
4. When the plan is triggered in the backend, the error message "APP-QA-16001: One or more of your actions failed. Please check the Action Log form for details." is thrown up.
No error is thrown up when the data for the collection plan is entered through the "Enter Quality Result" window
The action "Assign a collection status" was using a sql script which referenced to a global variable.
When the plan is triggred in the background the reference to the global variable :Parameter will
raise an error.
The Global variable :Parameter can be used when it is run on the forms directly where the reference could be obtained directly.
This is the standard functionality.
