Wrong Depreciation Account Code Combination After Upgrade Was Done From 11i to R12 (Doc ID 819665.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Assets - Version 12.0.0 to 12.1.3 [Release 12 to 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The natural account segment of depreciation accounts in 11i and R12 are different after upgrade using faucbccid.sql.

Ex.  In 11i, it's 99999 whereas in R12 it's 64604.

-- Steps To Reproduce:
1.  Upgrade the environment from Release 11i to Release 12
2.  Log into the pre-upgrade/old Release 11i environment, go to Setup, then to the asset category accounts for one book type code.  Retrieve the value for depreciation.
3.  Log into the post-upgrade Release 12 environment and retrieve the value for Depreciation Code Combination.
4.  Compare #2 with the account segment value of #3.
