Goal
This article talks about how to migrate profiles of your choice from source to target instance. iSetup migrates predefined list of profiles along with their values from source instance to target instance.
Note: This is applicable for 12.0.4 - Apply mandatory Patch 7608712 - 1OFF:12.0.4:ISETUP DOES NOT MIGRATE SYSTEM PROFILE VALUES on source and target for profile migration to work.
Note: This is applicable for 12.1.1 and above customers. Apply mandatory Patch 8661732 - 1OFF:7608712:12.1.1:ISETUP DOES NOT MIGRATE SYSTEM PROFILE VALUES on source and target for profile migration to work.
