How are Fixed and Planned Loss used in calculating the ingredient qty in a Batch

Goal

Could not find any details on how Fixed and Planned Loss in the Recipe are used to calculate the Ingredient quantity in the resulting Production Batch.

For example:
We have a Recipe which uses a Formula where 100 kg of the Product Item is made using 50 kg each of Ingredients 'A' and 'B'

Fixed Loss on this Recipe / Version is set to 10 kg.

When we create a Batch from this Recipe, the quantities of the two Ingredient Items are set to 50.47619 kg for each. 

How is this quantity being calculated?
