Login Issue via Internet Explorer after EBS Upgrade from 11.5.10.2 to R12 (Doc ID 828534.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading E-Business Suite from Release 11.5.10.2 to 12.0.4, the logon via Microsoft Internet Explorer is failing with the following error:

Error:
You are trying to access a page that is no longer active.
- You may have attempted to access to this page directly by bookmarking the page or copying the URL. This page does not support bookmarking.
- The referring page may have come from a previous session. Please select Home to proceed.


This issue occur only with Internet Explorer. Login to E-Business Suite homepage using Mozilla Firefox works without any issue.
