Goal

Helping to resolve the Multiple issues hit on :

Forms failed, Starting LISTENER failed, FNDFS missing...etc  after a Cloning, a recent Linux Upgrade to version RHEL4.

All this trouble is caused by the Relink phase has not been done successfully during a cloning or a Linux upgrade.

Example : 2 scenarios experienced by customers

1) After Cloning an  11.5.10.2/RHEL4.6 environment, Login to HomePage of EBS Suite,  Navigate to The System Administrator responsibility, failed on

FRM-92050: Failed to connect to the server.

Connecting directly  via Forms : http://hostname:port/dev60cgi/f60cgi ,  the same error generated.

All the forms & HTTP services are running.

2) In the Post Clone process all the steps were implemented.

But it is Unable to start the ./adalnctl.sh start, its throwing error:

Checking for FNDFS executable.
The FNDFS executable used by the listener does not exist.
The listener cannot be started at this time. Expect FNDFS at:
/esata/u01/oracle/prodappl/fnd/11.5.0/bin/FNDFS

Running

adrelink.sh force=y "fnd FNDFS"

Failed on

make: *** [/esata/u01/oracle/prodappl/fnd/11.5.0/bin/FNDFS] Error 126
Done with link of fnd executable 'FNDFS' on Thu May 28 01:28:20 EDT 2009

Even after running adrelink.sh there is no FNDFS executable in its location.

In bottom of the logfile"/bin/sh: /usr/bin/cc: cannot execute binary file
make: *** [f60run] Error 126"
