R12: Fndload Fails To Load Value Set Qualifiers (Doc ID 834243.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 04, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Application Object Library - Version 12.0.4 to 12.1.1 [Release 12 to 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

FNDLOAD is failing to move value set qualifiers from one system to another. Data exported is not seen in the new instance Forms UI. This problem can occur with any Flex Field Value Set that uses second level children.

Steps to reproduce issue:

1. Use the following command to create the ldt file:

FNDLOAD apps/<pwd> O Y DOWNLOAD $FND_TOP/patch/115/import/afffload.lct
file_name.ldt VALUE_SET FLEX_VALUE_SET_NAME="STEVE_AC"

'STEVE_AC' is used just as a value set example, which is part of the Chart of Account. This Value set also has qualifiers eg:'Allow Budget', 'Allow Posting'

Qualifiers are correct in the ldt file.

2. Use the following command to upload the ldt file:

FNDLOAD APPS/APPS 0 Y UPLOAD $FND_TOP/patch/115/import/afffload.lct file_name.ldt

3. Log in to Apps and attempt to view the loaded Value set and qualifiers using Forms UI.
