Supply Chain Rollup Adds Op Seq=1 Resource & OH To Level 0 of Assembly (Doc ID 838693.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 16, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Cost Management - Version 12.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Supply Chain Rollup (CSTRSCCRP) is not deriving the right value for some Items. It is adding
an Extra Op Seq = 1 with Resource and Overhead with additional costs. The process completes
without errors. This happens when run for all items or specific item.

Example:

For test Item = S1307DS1001
Material Element Cost is OK
Material Overhead Element Cost is OK
The issue is Resource and Overhead Element Cost are wrong because the cost rollup is including the following additional resource and overhead at Level 0 - in the Supply Chain Bills of Material Indented Cost Report
OpSeq 1 Resource = MO-PRENSAS - extended cost = 0.320
OpSeq1 Overhead = LB - extended cost = 2.388

There is no OpSeq 1 for assembly item "X" in the Routings form (Bills of Material
Responsibility > Routings > Routings) or in the Routing Report.

Expects this report and rollup NOT to include MO-PRENSAS Resource subelement cost and LB
Overhead subelement cost in Op Seq 1 for Level 0 of the assembly cost.
