Symptoms

When trying to call a Web Service from a Deployed OA Framework page, getting the following error: 

java.lang.VerifyError: (class: oracle/j2ee/ws/saaj/soap/MessageFactoryImpl, method: createVersionedMessage signature: (Ljavax/xml/soap/MimeHeaders;Ljava/io/InputStream;Ljava/lang/String;)Ljavax/xml/soap/SOAPMessage;) Wrong return type in function

In the oacorestd.err log the following errors were observed:

 

HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: For input string: ""

Changes

Upgraded the Application Server to 10.1.3.4
