Goal

Find transactions in the open interface or pending transactions form that want to remove, however, pressing the Red X gives the following error.
How does one remove stuck transactions when receiving this error?

Error
Cannot Delete Master Record When Matching Detail Record Exists

Steps

  1. Navigate to Inventory > Transactions > Transaction Open Interface
  2. Search and see stuck records that no longer require.
  3. Press the red X on the toolbar to remove the record
  4. Get the error.


Business Impact
These do not prevent period close but users want to clean up these old transactions.
