When attempting to expire an instance within the Installed Base interface the following error occurs:

"This Instance cannot be expired. There are Open Service Requests associated with it".

Or the following Message results:  ERROR CSI:CSI_IB_HAS_OPEN_SR

Business Impact:
Unable to expire the instance for this reason.
