Accessing BEE Spreadsheet Interface Gives 'Your Self Service Session either does not exist or has expired' Error (Doc ID 872652.1)

When accessing the BEE Spreadsheet Interface Web ADI spreadsheet, it hangs and then gives the following message: "Your Self Service Session either does not exist or has expired"

The BEE Spreadsheet Interface does not get opened and you are not able to upload batches using it. 

How do you avoid this error?
