R12.1: Assigning A Legal Entity Using ASM And End Dated Legal Entities Are Shown (Doc ID 873042.1)

Symptoms

Find that when adding legal entities (LE) to a ledger, the list of values (LOV) is showing
end-dated  legal entities.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect to see only enabled legal entities.

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
0. Setup : Financials : Accounting Setup Manager: Accounting Setups
1. Select the ledger of interest > Add Legal Entity
2. A list of Legal Entities appear
