Whenever user trying to copy or update migrated order(s) from 11i to R12, a validation
error message or /processing message is shown as below

Error Message

Steps

1. Order Management Super User>Orders and Returns>Sales Orders
2. Query migrated (11i) sales order to copy
3. Actions>Copy
4. Enter order type in change order type to:XXXXX
5. Click OK
6. Receive process message: "Please clear the Tax Exemption Number Field. It can be specified only if the Tax Handling is Exempt."

OR

1. Order Management Super User>Orders and Returns>Sales Orders
2. Query migrated (11i) sales order to update
3. Update any information on sSales order line
4. Save
5. Receive error message: "Please clear the Tax Exemption Number Field. It can be specified only if the Tax Handling is Exempt."
