Lockbox Error: Lockbox Fails When Invoice Balance Is Greater Than Receipt Amount with Error: Exception occured in the API AR_RECEIPT_API_PUB.APPLY API (Doc ID 875580.1)

When running the lockbox interface, the program fails. In the log, the following error message appears:

To process the old base receipts present in the custom table ...
Exception occured in the API AR_RECEIPT_API_PUB.APPLY API. Quitting...
You may not apply more than the receipt amount.
Exception occured while processing the Old Base Receipts.
Program exited with status 1

When the receipt amount is less than amount due on the invoice, the system tries to apply the amount due and gives the error.


Error occurs even when Profile "AR: Always Default Transaction Balance for Applications" is set to NULL or NO.

This error occurs when the Receipt has a lower amount than the Invoice.
