R12 On Running BPA Print Invoices For An External Template It Shows Error "invalid character ( in name" (Doc ID 875895.1)

On 12.0.6
When attempting to print invoices using BPA for an external template created, the request errors with following error message.

Exception in thread "Thread-9" oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: Application: FND, Message
Name: FND_GENERIC_MESSAGE. Tokens: MESSAGE = oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLDOMException: invalid character ( in name;

Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) When viewing the invoice online on the screen from the BPA responsibility, all is ok
2) When submitting the request to print the invoice, for the same template and invoice, error for "invalid ( sign" occurs.
3) Reviewed the mapping but didn't find any field with this sign
