R12: AP: Receiving Error When Clicking On Invoice Approval Notification In Email (Doc ID 876187.1)

Goal

Users have setup AME rules for AP invoice approvals. In the HR record of employees the emails have
been set so that the notifications for approval are received in the Microsoft Office. If a person is entered as requester then they get an email seeking approval. If the person clicks on view additional details in the email notification for approval, it opens the oracle login page. The user logs in, reviews the notification and approves it. They then go to the next email in his outlook and clicks on view additional information. This the page which is open displays the following error message,

You are trying to access a page that is no longer active.
- You may have attempted to access to this page directly by bookmarking the page or copying the
URL. This page does not support bookmarking.
- The referring page may have come from a previous session. Please select Home to proceed.

This can be prevented if after approval the Oracle application is closed and then the next email
has been worked. We need to make sure that even if the Oracle window is not closed the user is
able to navigate to the next notification through email.
