This document provides an overview of the 'Electronic Invoice Integration Support' feature included in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1. This document is for informational purposes only and is intended solely to provide highlights of this feature.  


SPED is a Portuguese acronym for Public System of Digital Bookkeeping.

The Brazilian Fiscal SPED is a federal project that replaces the formal Nota Fiscal printing process by an electronic file and includes the following initiatives:
Federal electronic invoice
Fiscal books

It requires organizations to submit a set of legal reports in electronic format to tax authorities. Specific additional information is required to be provided in these reports.

Oracle Financials for Brazil Release 12.1.1 is updated to allow users to integrate with fiscal partners applications that formats and communicates the data with the Federal Tax Authority.
