R11i Account Generator (FAGDA) Errors With: "function FAFLEX_PKG_WF.START_PROCESS returned failure" And BONUS_DEPRN_EXP Exceeds Max Length (Doc ID 878523.1)

Symptoms

Running depreciation, generate accounts errors out for some assets like:

Account Generator failed to generate a new code combination:
Account Type: BONUS_DEPRN_EXP
Book: PL_TZMO
Distribution ID: 36019
Concatenated Segments: 110-BONUS_DEPRN_EXP-0000-00000-0110-000-0-0000000

Cause: The code combination for the generated segment does not exist and cannot be created because
it would contain invalid segment values or because it has been disabled.

Action: Please review the following message for a detailed explanation of why the account could
not be generated.

Error: function FAFLEX_PKG_WF.START_PROCESS returned failure
Value BONUS_DEPRN_EXP is longer than its maximum length of 6 characters.
The Asset Number is 100411
Error: function FA_GENACCTS_PKG.GEN_CCID returned failure
The Asset Id is 100411
Error: function FA_GENACCTS_PKG.GEN_CCID returned failure
The account segment parameter is 550000
Error: function FA_GENACCTS_PKG.GEN_CCID returned failure
The account CCID parameter is 0
Error: function FA_GENACCTS_PKG.GEN_CCID returned failure
The default ccid parameter is 80935
Error: function FA_GENACCTS_PKG.GEN_CCID returned failure
The distribution_ccid parameter is 286085
Error: function FA_GENACCTS_PKG.GEN_CCID returned failure


Expected: Depreciation and generate accounts to complete successfully.
