Symptoms

When attempting to process transactions to Oracle Install Base (IB), the following error occurs:


ERROR
The source item instance XX, in Subinventory XX, for Organization XX in Oracle Install Base does not exist. Please verify that any receipt transactions were successful. (spelling error for 'transactions' is in error message)

Steps To Reproduce:

  1. Create and Book a Return Material Authorization (RMA) in Order Management with an Instance Number entered in Transaction Details
  2. Receive the RMA in Inventory with a different Serial Number than was input via Instance Number on Transaction Details
  3. Observe that the transaction errors in the Installed Base Interface
