DEFERRAL_EXCLUSION_FLAG Is Set To Yes For Freight Lines In RA_INTERFACE_LINES (Doc ID 880462.1)

This note is consolidated into Note 1096942.1, How to Setup and Troubleshoot Freight in AutoInvoice and the Transactions Form

We are having issue that revenue on freight line is getting immediately. We would like the freight lines also to hit deferred revenue.
We have a revenue contingency rule (with revenue policy as None). We have defined a contingency
removal event based on event attribute - Transaction Date. Revenue will be recognized on expiry of
4 days from the date of Invoice. We have assigned this rule to the invoice type transactions.

The rule is working fine with the regular line items. However for charges, like for e.g Freight,
the deferral is not working. The revenue is getting recognized immediately for the freight lines.
We have noted that the Deferral_exclusion_flag for the freight lines is set to 'Y' for these
lines. This flag is null for the regular line items.

Not sure why the contingency rule defined is not getting applied to freight lines.
