INVTOTRX Receive Error 'The material sourcing Process failed to create picking suggestions ...' On Allocating Sales Order Move Order Lines (Doc ID 883244.1)

FORM:INVTOTRX.FMB - Transact Move Orders

Symptoms

In Release 12. When attempting to manually allocate sales order move order lines in Transact Move Orders form (INVTOTRX), the following error #1 occurs and the line gets backordered.

When launching the pick release for the same with Auto Allocate=Yes, the following error #2 occurs.

Issue reported for lot controlled and lot divisible items with enough available quantity.

ERROR #1
In Transact Move Orders form:
"Error: The material sourcing Process failed to create picking suggestions for line <line
number> of Move order number <move order number>.
"

ERROR #2
In Inventory debug file for pick release with Auto Allocate=Yes:

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Transact Move Orders form
2. Query the sales order
3. In Transact Move Orders (main) window, press button Allocate
4. See the reported error
