Symptoms

When attempting to perform an assembly completion in Complete Transactions form, the following error occurs:


ERROR

<item A> failed validation. Inventory item ID is invalid or does not have the flags enabled correctly to be processed by the Inventory processor"

then we press OK on the Error message and then we get this error message:

"ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: NULL index table key value in Package INV_Quantity_Tree_PVT Procedure Free_Tree"

Steps To Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a BOM that contains both Stock able and Non Stock able components.
Make demand for the BOM to be able to manufacture it.
Go to: Planning - MRP - Workbench, search for the BOM and select for Release.
Go to: WIP - Discrete - Discrete Jobs, search for the job number and enter the qty that you want to manufacture.
Run the report Discrete Job Listing Report
Go to: WIP - Move Transaction - Move Transaction, search for the job number and confirm the qty that will be manufactured.
Go to: WIP - Material Transactions - Complete Transactions. Search for the job number, enter the qty, enter lot/serial number and Save. When we save the get the error shown in the attachment.
