This document includes all versions of Oracle EBS 11i and R12 and later
Goal
Item Status should control "Purchasable" flag so when item status is ACTIVE, the flag is enabled and can not be changed. That control works as designed. However, if you uncheck "PURCHASED" flag, the "Purchasable" flag is also unchecked and item can be saved even when Item Status is ACTIVE (Purchasable is under status control as sets value).
Setup
------
Item Attribute Controls :
Purchased > Controlled at Master level
Status Attributes > Purchasable > controlled at org level > sets value
Item Status > Active (all enabled)
1) Create an Item with Purchasing Template.
2) When tried to uncheck purchasable attribute get warning that attribute is under status control (which works fine)
3) When tried to uncheck purchased attribute, form allows (purchasable also unchecked) and can be saved. Which is not correct because purchasable is under status control and and form should not allow attribute update as in point 2 which conflicts with status control functionality.
