When creating a project or project type and entering the budgetary control/integration options, the following error is thrown:

You can enable budgetary control for only one cost budget type.

The error occurs when the budget type has been assigned budgetary control on a different project or project type, even though there is only one controlled budget type on the current project / project type.

The error name is PA_BC_MANY_CTRL_FG_RECS. If a project is created from a template with budgetary controls, the project may be created without error, but this error will be thrown if there is an attempt to update any of the control settings prior to baselining a control budget. In this case the following error may also be displayed in addition to the error message above:

FRM-40105: Unable to resolve reference to item

Some patches may have already been applied to resolve the issue, but it still occurs.
