GMF Period Close Process Failed with Error Messages Related to Pending Transactions (Doc ID 888016.1)

Symptoms

GMF Period Close Process for Process Organizations errors due to pending or unprocessed transactions.  To run the process go to OPM Financials > Reports > Standard > Run and submit the concurrent request  "GMF Period Close Process for Process Organizations".

After the process completes, review the GMF Period Close log file and find it contains errors like the following:


Pending receiving transactions
Unprocessed Material transactions
Pending Material transactions
Skipping closing of this period because of the existing pending transactions Compile Period Balances LE process completed
Period Close process failed for one of the orgs.
