Map Viewer Restart Giving HTTP 400 Error On Restart (Doc ID 889246.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to save and restart the mapviewer configuration an error occurs.

Webpage could not be found



Steps To Reproduce:
1. Goto the URL
http://hostname.domain:<port>/mapviewer
Login : oc4jadmin/ < password >

2. Select Admin

3. Select Configuration

4. Make your required changes

5. Then save & restart

6. Error occurs in the browser
 HTTP 400 Bad Request 'Webpage could not be found'

 

The Apache server error log file shows the following message.

mod_security: Access denied with code 400. Pattern match "\\.\\./" at POST_PAYLOAD.
[uri "/mapviewer/faces/admin/admin_mvconfig.jspx"]
