How to Undo A Mass Retirement FAXMAMRT (Doc ID 93770.1)

Symptoms

You run mass retirements, but the process errors out. You want to undo the retirement, but you cannot undo the retirement because the mass retirement failed either because the rollback segment was too small (ORA-1555 Snap shot too old), or when you navigate to the mass retirements window (\ Mass Transactions \ Retirements), the [Reinstate] button is not available because the Status indicates an 'Error'.
