Symptoms

On 12.0.6 :
When attempting to apply newly entered receipts to invoices created prior to upgrade from release
11i  to release 12 the following error occurs.

ERROR

Line-level cash applications cannot be performed against transactions with prior activity


STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Receipts / Batches
Enter new receipt batch with one receipt
Search and Apply
Click check box to apply to invoice migrated from 11i
Click Save
