Repricing Service Contracts Does Not Give the Expected Price if There are Existing Price Adjustments (Doc ID 946354.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 22, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Service Contracts - Version 11.5.10 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

A Service Contract has been created and priced using Price List A, then the price is manually overridden by the user. This creates a price adjustment on the contract. The contract price list is then changed to Price List B and the contract is repriced using Cascade and Reprice. The expectation is that the new price on Price List B will be used as is, instead, the existing Price Adjustment is still in place and amends the price. Why isn't the Price Adjustment removed when the new price list is added and the contract is repriced?
