Goal

How to troubleshoot ORA-0001: unique constraint  (XLA.XLA_AE_HEADERS_GT_U1) violated in create accounting?

ERROR:
The journal entry cannot be saved.  Please inform your system administrator or support representative that:

The Accounting Program for Oracle Subledger Accounting cannot successfully save the entry for technical reasons. ORA-00001: unique constraint (XLA.XLA_AE_LINES_GT_U1) violated.

or

The Accounting Program for Oracle Subledger Accounting cannot successfully save the entry for technical reasons. ORA-00001: unique constraint (XLA.XLA_AE_HEADERS_GT_U1) violated.

or

An internal error has occurred in the program
XLA_00200_AAD_S_000002_PKG.EventClass_235.  ORA-06503: PL/SQL: Function
returned without value   (real error which got masked is still unique constraint voildated)

Note: SLA Dev will be shortly making code changes to ensure that “function returned without a value” is not printed in such cases (as it can be misleading), so “unique constraint violation” is always printed.
