Move Order Secondary Allocated Quantity Not Correct After updating Allocation with other Lot
(Doc ID 948686.1)
Last updated on APRIL 04, 2025
Applies to:
Oracle Inventory Management - Version 12.0.0 to 12.1.3 [Release 12.0 to 12.1]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When changing the lot number on the move order allocation, the allocated secondary unit of measure (2nd UOM quantity) is not taking into account the lot specific uom conversion of the new lot in the move order allocations form.
Steps To Reproduce:
Create Move orderTransfer .
Primary qty 25, secondary qty 0.71429
In move order enter Lot Allocated qty 25, sec alloc qty 0.625
This is correct based on the lot specific UOM conversion. Save
The Transact Move order form,
Updated the automatically allocated lot using View/Update allocations.
Click on Lot/Serial button.
Change the lot number.
So changed lot to another lot with different lot UOM conversion: secondary qty for new lot should be 1,
if correctly derived from lot UOM conversion
BUT Secondary qty on move order line is still 0.625
Transact move order.
Then:
Check Material transaction : Secondary qty on material trx is -0.625 (wrong),
Click on Lot: it correctly shows on lot level show secondary qty -1
Onhand quantity is also updated correctly for the second UOM
