Order Movements Created from Split are Created in Domain that Planning was Initiated Instead of Original Order Movement's Domain (Doc ID 950324.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Operational Planning - Version 5.5.04 to [Release 5.5]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

-- Problem Statement:

When an Order Movement is planned that is split onto multiple shipments, the new Order Movements that are created automatically are created in domain in which the planning is initiated. Since the original Order Movement was in a different domain, it is expected that the newly created Movements also be created in this other domain.

-- Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Created OR/OM in Sub-Domain

2. Performed the bulk plan option on the OM with default planning parameter set, initiated from parent Domain

3. Multiple shipments are created causing new Order Movements to be created. These Order Movements are not created in the same domain as the original Order Movement.
