In Release 12.1, when attempting to query a Purchase Order in the Buyer Work Center the following error occurs

oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: oracle.jbo.SQLStmtException: JBO-27122: SQL error during statement preparation.

REPRODUCIBLE STEPS
1. Purchasing>Buyer Work Center>Orders
2. Search for PO, hit Go
3. Error prompted
