Goal

How can the System: Error (WFERROR) or System: Mailer (WFMAIL) Email Notifications that are designed to go to the SYSADMIN user be routed to another user?

Examples:

1. As of ATG RUP5, a notification is sent to the SYSADMIN user when due to a failure to send a notification at the time of transmission to a user the user's email style (notification_preference) is set to DISABLED.  The mailer sees the error during the SMTP delivery.  The failure is at the SMTP layer.  Therefore, no future notifications will be emailed to this user until the reason that caused the failure is resolved.

2. The SMTP server accepts the message and sends it to the IMAP Server the user is supposed to have an account on.  This email server returns the email to the Workflow Mailer INBOX with subject that indicates that it could not be delivered.  One example is subject is DELIVERY FAILURE.  The failure is seen during IMAP processing.

Examples from the Workflow Mailer Service log:

SMTP Failure:

 ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
email=<EMAIL>@<HOST>
   (reason: 550 Invalid recipient email=<EMAIL>@<HOST> (#5.1.1))

--------------------------------------------------

javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid Addresses;
nested exception is:

--------------------------------------------------

IMAP Failure:

Processing Message SUBJECT[DELIVERY FAILURE: User name (email=<EMAIL>@<HOST>) not listed in Domino Directory] UID[21]
