Last updated on APRIL 13, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Service Contracts - Version 11.5.10.2 to 12 [Release 11.5 to 12]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.5.10.2 version.

The Date Assembler does not pick up any contract that is expected to be picked up.
The log does not contain any information. It does not contain any information about the independent condition and contracts that were expected to be picked up.

The contracts are only renewed like this once a year.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expected is that when the last_rundate is cleared in okc_condition_headers_b, and the independent condition is defined with a number of days before contract expiration, that the Date Assembler should pick up the contracts that expire 31-DEC-2009.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.
Service Contracts resp.
NAV Launch Contracts.
Verify there is a contract that has an end date of 31-DEC-2009.
2.
Service Contracts resp.
NAV Contract Events / Define Independent Condition.

Setup an independent condition with the number of days until 31-DEC-2009 (before contract expiration).

Number of days to the expire date:
select ceil(to_date('31-DEC-2009', 'DD-MON-YYYY') - Sysdate)
from dual

3.
Service Contracts Resp.
NAV Control/Requests/Run
Run Date Assembler
Check the log. It does not list the independent condition.
