Symptoms

When Updating Spouse to Ex-Spouse in Self Service Benefits, error occurs:

ORA-20001: This contact is currently eligible for benefit coverage.
The current relationship type cannot be changed.
Either the contact must be de-enrolled from benefits or the current relationship type end-dated before the new relationship is added.



Steps to Reproduce:

1. Log into Self-Service > Benefits.
2. Update the Spouse Relationship Type to Ex-spouse.
3. Update the Relationship Start Date.
4. Click the Next button.  The following error message occurs:

ORA-20001: This contact is currently eligible for benefit coverage.
The current relationship type cannot be changed.
Either the contact must be de-enrolled from benefits or the current relationship type end-dated before the new relationship is added.
