11i.AR.N: Failed AutoInvoice Records Generate Sequences Violating Gapless Sequencing (Doc ID 977920.1)

Symptoms

Release 11.5.10
Patchset: 11i.AR.N

When the AutoInvoice process fails for specific records, invoice numbers are generated for the failed records.
This issue causes skipped sequences, which violates Brazilian Legislation.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Review last sequence used.
2. Execute AutoInvoice.
3. Review AutoInvoice Execution Report to see failed records (i.e. Autoaccounting errors, etc).
4. Review the sequence to see that it is generated even for the failed records.
