Symptoms
When updating the Middle name of a customer record using Bulk Import, the data provided in the import is not properly reflected onto the Middle Name field in the Customer form.
To illustrate:
Using Bulk Import, create a party without a middle name, for example: First Name = JXXX, Middle Name = null, Last Name = Sxxxx
Search for the Record in the Customer form, and in the results you can see Name = JXXX Sxxxx
If you click on the Name, it shows you First Name = JXXX, Middle Name = blank, Last Name = Sxxxx
Update the same party to add a middle name, for example: First Name = JXXX, Middle Name = Mxxxxxx, Last Name = Sxxxx
Search for the Record in the Customer form, and in the results you can see Name = JXXX Mxxxxxx Sxxxx
If you click on the Name, it shows you First Name = JXXX, Middle Name = Mxxxxxx, Last Name = Sxxxx
Update the same party again to remove a middle name, for example: First Name = JXXX, Middle Name = null, Last Name = Sxxxx
Search for the Record in the Customer form, and in the results you can see Name = JXXX Sxxxx
If you click on the Name, it shows you First Name = JXXX, Middle Name = Mxxxxxx, Last Name = Sxxxx. The middle name did not change back to blank.
