Unable to Cancel Sales Order Line in entered status

Information in this document applies to any platform.
After creating a new sales order trying to cancel the line, it shows the cancel form and choose a reason and press OK.
After that the line status still as ENTERED and not updated to cancelled , QTY is changed to zero, cancelled Qty is not updated with the cancelled Qty it also shows zero Qty.
After that when trying to book the order an error displays saying that the order cannot be booked because line qty cannot be zero.
